Star actor Brad Pitt has admitted to starting therapy after his divorce to fellow Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie. He made the revelation in a recent interview with GQ Magazine.
Speaking publicly for the first time about the split, he revealed he has “started therapy” and loves it. He admitted to smoking pot and heavy drinking adding that he isolated himself emotionally from others saying he was “much better at covering” things up.
His former wife files for divorce in September 2016 after 2 years of marriage although they had been together for about 10 years before officially tying the knot. After the bitter divorce, Pitt turned to “boozing too much” although he admitted to his love for wine prior to the divorce adding that he is using cranberry juice to replace alcohol.
On his divorce, the star said he was working to resolve things amicably with Jolie while deciding to abandon “hatred as he put it. This followed the bitter child custody dispute, which they were involved in after their split. He said he busies himself these days with exploring his creativity.
